OSU Extension Services

With a beautiful, new commercial kitchen and ample meeting space, take your friends and family and sign up for one of the many research-based programs from OSU Extension Services in Tillamook! Programs include food safety and preservation, Cooking Matters and Master Gardener classes and much more. OSU Extension Services offers programs and services on gardening, agriculture, dairy, forestry, 4-H youth development, adult development, family and community health. Food Roots

Aimed at growing a robust, equitable, accessible food system in Tillamook County through community engagement, education, and food producer support, Food Roots offers programs and services for everyone! Classes range from community garden plots, seed-to-supper classes and farm-to-school education, and their own farm store table where you can pick up locally sources meats, vegetables, dairy and more. Northwest Senior and Disability Services

Making food available to seniors in need, Northwest Senior and Disability Services in Tillamook County has mealsites where people aged 60 and older are able to dine. They also host the “Meals on Wheels” program which delivers meals to seniors who are not able to come to the meal sites. Oregon Food Bank – Food Pantries and Meal Sites

The mission of the Oregon Food Bank is to eliminate hunger and its root causes because no one should be hungry. The Oregon Food Bank collects food from farmers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, individuals and government sources. This food is distributed through a network of local food pantries and meal sites.

Tillamook County Farmers Markets

Manzanita Farmers Market 

Friday evenings, June through September, 4pm – 7pm.

 

Located back at the Underhill Plaza (635 Manzanita Avenue), this is the largest farmer’s market in Tillamook County. Come check out the many local area farmers, fishers, bakers, and other artisans. For more info, visit the market’s website.

Neskowin Farmers Market

Saturdays, May through September, 9am – 1pm.

 

Located at the Proposals Art Center on the corner of Hwy 101 and Summit Rd, visit this hidden treasure to find fresh produce grown locally just a few miles away. Fresh cheeses from a local dairy, homemade breads and pastries, locally caught fresh fish, handmade crafts and much more! This market may be small, but the quality and variety at each vendor is BIG. Pacific City Farmers Market  

Sundays, June through September, 10am – 2pm.

 

Located at the Pacific City Library (corner of Camp Street and Brooten Road), get ready for your week by stocking up on local flavors and treats ranging from farm fresh produce, locally caught fish, baked goods, cheeses, and much more! Tillamook Farmers Market

On the corner of Laurel Avenue and Second Street in downtown Tillamook, find an old-fashioned farmers market with locally grown produce, hand-made and artisan gifts, baked goods, live music and activities for kids.
